During our summer holiday in Cork back in July, the Shan clan spent a lovely day in Fota Wildlife Park, where we strolled around and saw all types of wonderful animals, mostly with far more space than they get at ordinary zoos, which was nice to see.

Here are some photos from what was a lovely day, featuring rhinos, tigers, penguins, giraffes, and that rarest of beasts, almost never spotted in the wilds -- Darren Shan in a pair of shorts!!!! :-)
