Last week I posted photos of a couple of birthday cakes which had been themed after my books. In response, a couple of other fans posted pics of Shan-themed birthday cakes which had been made for THEM many moons ago, and I thought they were too good not to share, so here they are!

The first - the Cirque Du Freak cake - was made for Monet, for her 11th birthday. I'm not sure why it says Jocelynn on it -- perhaps, like me, she was blooded by a vampire at a young age, and had to leave home and change her name???

The second - the Demonata cake - was made for Jess, for her 16th birthday -- a good age to join the fight against the demonic invaders!!

It was my son Dante's 7th birthday yesterday. We didn't do a cake -- he's got no real interest in them at the moment. Instead we've flown to the UK for a short break, where we'll be hitting a couple of theme parks, so if you see a guy walking around Legoland this weekend, who looks an awful lot like a certain YA horror and fantasy writer... it probably is!!! :-)
